The first question you are likely to ask yourself is, "Why do I need a website?"

Well, the answer to that is a simple one! Where else can you get world-wide exposure for your product or business, on display for 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, all for less than it would cost you to place one advertisement in a trade journal?

For example, let's say you are a business owner who wants to promote a new range of products that you manufacture. The usual means of promotion would be through an extensive advertising program in newspapers, magazines and journals, with a single advertisement being anything from one quarter of a page up to several pages, with prices varying according to the publication. On average, a single page advertisement would be likely to cost in the vicinity of $500+ (and that can be for just a single black and white page), with that advertisement being seen for just one week, or one month, or perhaps a couple of months at the outside.

By scaling back the size of your advertisements and investing that same amount of money in a web-site, you could have an almost unlimited number of pages showing off your mercahndise, listing all of your stock, and all with colour photographs, full descriptions displayed and more. All of which could be updated on as regular a basis as you would like, and available to be seen for an entire year, as opposed to just a few weeks or months.

In keeping with trying to keep things simple for our clients, we have developed a number of website plans, starting with a simple single page website and ranging up to large multi-page websites. We can provide everyone with a website to suits their needs, and more importantly - their budget!

All of our website plans include all design costs, plus hosting for your first twelve months! You pay nothing more than the price quoted for the website plan ordered.

Hosting

Once your web-site has been designed, you will usually need a server (or "host") for your site. This is basically where all the web pages and images that make up your site are placed so they can show up on the internet.

As part of the service provided, any web-sites designed and maintained by Ozziewebs Digital will be hosted free of charge within the www.ozziewebs.com site for the first twelve months, with minimal hosting charges applying for subsequent years. Please refer to the Pricing page for further details and the costs of plans available.

You may of course wish your web-site to be hosted elsewhere, and there are many choices for hosting out there, although we discourage the use of some of the 'free' hosting sites available, as they often add pop up advertising to your site and slow it down considerably. If you choose to host with another company all you will need to do is provide us with the neccessary information so that we may connect to it and upload your site.

Maintenance

Most minor updates to your site will be free of charge, for example changing a picture, deleting an irem etc., however updates that take longer than half an hour or require a new page to be created will be priced prior to the update at the usual hourly rate.

Domain Registration

When your new web-site is created, you will be given a web address something like this...

www.ozziewebs.com/yourbusinessname/

While this may be a relatively simple address, your business would most probably be more easily recognised with your own distinctive web address, such as...

www.yourbusinessname.com

We can take care of all the registration and setup of your dot com name for you so people will be able to find your site easily. All you need to do is pick out your name so we can make sure it's available. www.YourBusinessName.com or www.YourProductName.com are formats that are both simple and effective.
