Mystical Girl
We were absolutely amazed when "Misty" was born. Her colour pattern was so diverse
from the colours of her sire, a black and white pintaloosa and her dam, a black appaloosa.
"Misty" was a real redhead, with red spots and white pinto pattern and long white stocking legs that is rather uniquely beautiful and very eye catching at the same time.
Where did all this colour come from we asked ourselves? Where did those long, long legs and elegant neck evolve from?
The short body, the incredibly dished small head that held those huge eyes, the high set
of her neck was all a mystery until the mystery became clear. "Misty" was a throwback,
no doubt about it.
Even the white saddle marking that runs down from her neck and over her shoulder is
almost a carbon copy of "himself" - "Orion Light Van't Huttenest".
The refinement which makes her look as though she is not just another
miniature but a full size Arab foal, just so leggy with all the traits that breeders only dream about producing!
The saying that the cream always rises to the top has materialised before our eyes,
thanks to the truly remarkable bloodlines which are inherited from "Orion".

shows!

just her first show, the 2007 NSW State Show, "Misty"
placed FIRST in the NSW State Futurities 28" to 30",
as well winning the State Multi-Colour Championship! |

Since her first show we are delighted that 'Misty' has continued
on with her winning ways. Some of her spectacular results
include:

Nationals - 2nd in Futurities, Tripleorama - Res. Nat. Champion.
> Queensland Foal Futurities - Reserve Champion (by
just 1/2 a point).
> 2008 IMHR Nationals - Champion Double Shot Yearling
Filly (x 2 judges). Champion
Junior Small Horse mare. Supreme Junior Small
Horse Exhibit. S.H. Yearling Classic -
2nd place. National Champion Any Other
Colour.
